1. Approval. Read the conditions thoroughly before you go on. By a continued use of the web sites BarniMagen.com, DinBaby.com, MorogBarn.com, BabyTV.no and BabyMedia.no and/or by subscribing for membership in BarniMagen.com and / or Gullsmokken.no you accept the conditions. In the following, by “websites”, all sites mentioned in this paragraph are covered, including variations of the same i.e. BarniMagen.no.

2. Amendments. The websites are owned by the Norwegian registred company company BabyMediaAS (registration number, Norwegian Company House 881 580 292). BabyMedia reserves the right to amend or add new conditions to the "Conditions for the use " without informing you before you discover it here. You are therefore obliged to keep yourself updated by reading the "Conditions for the use of BarniMagen.com, DinBaby.com, MorogBarn.com, Babytv.no and BabyMedia.no " regularly.

3. Disclaim of liability. The websites are only meant to serve as a supplement to the public and private health services. The websites are only meant to be advisory and informative. You are personally responsible for the application of the advice and information received via the websites. BabyMediaAS takes no responsibility for the quality or the accessibility of the material published on the websites.
BabyMediaAS will emphasise that if you are critically ill, or seriously concerned about your own or your child's health, you should see the midwife or doctor you regularly visit. Should this be impossible, you should contact your maternity ward or the nearest hospital.

4. Membership and password. You are offered a membership in websites com in order to maintain your anonymity. The membership itself is free and with no other obligations than your approval of and loyalty towards BarniMagen's conditions. As from summer 2004 you are invited to upgrade your membership to a paid level (Gullsmokken) with several benefits, but with the same level of security with password and anonymity. You will receive a password when subscribing for the membership. The password ensures that no other than yourself and the BabyMedia personnel with professional secrecy can read your pages. You are obliged to keep your password secret from other people.
The membership is also a security for you as a user, as the service will bar out any person trying to abuse it (e.g with wrongful or obscene inquiries, by harassing other users or by general attempts to smear or ruin the BarniMagen initiative).

5.Postings by useres.BabyMedia maintain the right without compensations of any kind, and without further clearing than this to use postings (text, pictures, film) from the users in any other media, inklucing books, brochures and video. The useres are not allowed to publish copyrighted text, picutres or video onto the websites. BabyMedia is not responsible for the inquiries to the chat part of the service, unless they come from BarniMagen personnel (e.g. experts participating in the chat or chat hosts that follow an internet discussion).

6. Publishing. It is not allowed to expose confidential information in the open parts of websites. Personal photos and photos of others may only be exposed with the approval of the portrayed or their guardian. BabyMedia takes no responsibility for material exposed by the members, even on their own password protected areas.

7. Quality control.BabyMediaAS will make random control checks of the quality of the advice and ideas published on the websites. This does not necessarily imply that BabyMedia agrees on all the published material, or that BabyMedia can guarantee for the quality of the it (e.g. old woman's remedies).

8. Copyrights and publication. BabyMedia holds the copyrights and other intellectual property rights to the material available on the websites, unless otherwise is exclusively agreed. If the material contains errors or is in conflict with Norwegian law, BabyMedia may remove this material immediately.
You may apply the material published on the websites for personal use, such as reading, downloading on personal hard disk and printing. It is not allowed to copy or republish texts, photos or other material on the websites (copyright protected) without the copyright holders' consent or lawful authorisation.
Nor is it allowed to advertise commercial business on the websites chat / forum service.

9. Consequences of breach. The users of the websites neglecting the conditions, will be barred from the member sites and the chat service and will if necessary be reported to the police and prosecuted.

10. Anonymity. BabyMedia reserves the right to make anonymous the persons mentioned in inquiries from the individual user. If you should tell your own birth story and mention the name of the midwife or other specialists involved, BabyMedia will rewrite the name before the material is published. BabyMedia reserves the right, upon its own judgement, to edit offensive or in any other way inappropriate parts of the inquiries.

11. Personal information. Your volunteer and password protected registration of name, adress and details about your duedate, and your cild / children will be used to deliver a personalized and relevant webservice for you. At any time you can change your personal information or erase your membership. If you voluntarily give up your name and address to persons or companies that wish to sell you anything via this web site, it is at your own risk and not that of BabyMedia.

12. The web sites. If the websites ceases to be a separate unity or becomes a unity within an other web site, this will take place without any personal notification to the users. This change will be reported via general information on an easily visible place on main page.

13. Disputes. Any dispute concerning websites of BabyMedia shall be in accordance with current Norwegian law. If negotiations fail to succeed, disputes shall be settled by ordinary judicial decisions with Oslo City Court as legal venue.
